Orbi WiFi System
Considering buying RBK53
I currently have just the free router provided by my ISP. The ISP service is pretty poor and we get a lot of DSL drops which means the router goes down as it tries to restart the service so we lose WIFI and access to the NSA attached to the router.
I am wondering if the Orbit network will remain constant if the DSL drops (i.e. does it need the internet to work). If the internet is gone would a NSA on one satellite still be accessible by say and Apple TV connected wirelessly or attaced via ethernet to another satelite?
Thanks for any advice

I would think twice before buying the Orbi system. I have never had so many issues with a router as I am having with this one. Constant disconnects, port forwarding not working, etc, etc. For the price I paid it is unacceptable that it is this bad. And Netgear seems to be doing nothing to fix it. I would look elsewhere if I were you.
