Orbi Wireless MAC Filter when in access point mode
My Orbi is in access point mode and it appears that I do not have access to setting up the wireless mac filter.
When I go to Advanced->Security the "Access Control" menu link is greyed out.
Is this a known issue?

Hello ronin8600
When it AP mode all that would be handled by your main router.

Hi Darren,
Thank you for the response.
I thought that in AP mode the access point would still handle the MAC filtering since it is handling the wireless devices connecting to the network. I had been using an Asus A66U that is in AP mode and it allowed my use MAC filtering.

I too was expecting to be able to apply wireless MAC address filtering to restrict which devices can connect to my Wi-Fi network. I've had that ability in all of the Wi-Fi routers/access points I've had (Linksys, Asus, etc). I'm rather disappointed that this is not supported by Netgear Orbi when configured as an access point.
Will Netgear please consider enabling that capability in AP mode? So far I like the Orbi coverage and speed but am not sure I want to keep it since I feel more secure with wireless MAC filtering.
Thanks!
