Orbi not working with switch between modem with other router connected

I am trying to create two seperate private networks. Currently I am using a switch between the ONT(we have FiOS) and Orbi. Whenever the other network is connected to the switch the Orbi reports that it can't connect to the internet. The issue may be our residential connection altough I think this setup should work. Currently i have the other router disconnected and the network is working fine.

You only get a single IP address from the ISP modem (ONT) so you can't put a switch there.
