Orbi satellites downgraded

If you use a Orbi RBR50 with a RBS50 and pair it with your existing Orbi RBS20 satellites  will it downgrade the RBS50 to operate at the same level as the RBS20s or will each satellite version operate to its optimum performance? I've heard that pairing 20 satellites with a RBR50 works but it nullifies the advantages of the 50 satellites. True?

No. RBS will not auto downgrade or upgrade. 

 

v16 is the most lastest version of FW. Its now available for both 20 and 50 series systems:
