Orbi - set satellite to wireless backhaul only (aka - disable it as an access point)
Is there a way to set an Orbi satellite to only use wireless backhaul and prevent any device from accessing the network via the thing? Trying to force a device that is marginally closer to the satellite to use the router because the device tends to randomly flip between them causing disruptions and packet loss.

No, you can't disable the satellites broadcast capability.
A couple things you can try.
1. move the satellite. maybe its to close to the router. It needs to be at least 30 feet between router/satellite
2. you can turn down the broadcast power. If the router/satellites are to close, sometimes turning down the broadcast power helps devices roam better.
