I have had this product for 30 days and they killed it overnight with their "update".
No responce to a "support ticket" in 4 hours.
They can **bleep** themselves.

What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Try a full factory reset and setup from scratch. Walk thru the set wizard.

Re: Orbi stopped working after the "update"
If you tell people here what the problem and is and what Orbi hardware you have, maybe someone can help you out.
It could be quicker than going through official channels. The users whop chip in here are all round the world. No "dead spots" when they go home to sleep.

Re: Orbi stopped working after the "update"
Responded in detail in two other threads.
Support just told me to reset - which I already did multiple times.
As near as I can tell I need to log into the Netgear site with the orbi to see my firmware - Orbi doesn't do that. I'm currently connecting through an old Netgear router.

Re: Orbi stopped working after the "update"
I am not sure why the original post was made.
We are not Netgear employees.
We are here only because we try and help others. Whining doesnt describe a problem we can solve.
I suspect #OP had no one to complain to, so he picked us.
Go vent somewhere else -- we also arent psychologists. (well maybe @FURRYe38 is)

Re: Orbi stopped working after the "update"
Sorry, I agree with original poster's frustration. Netgear is a disgrace regarding its low QC firmware:
Agreed that this is a community of volunteers, but it is not good enough that Netgear leaves it to volunteers, moderators ignore messages and they only offer a disgracefully, irrelevantly short 90 day support period - that they word as if it is a favour to the buyer. The buyer is a customer. This is even more important when Netgear can virtually brick your device, at will, by forcing an auto update.
I'd consider myself reasonably expert at networking. And this is is Netgear's mess not the OP's or the community's.
