I updated from 2.1.3.4 to 2.1.4.10 two days back and everything is still working fine, one RBR50 router & one RBS50 satellite. If it helps anyone, I updated using my MacBook Pro plugged in via Ethernet and updating from the update prompt in the firmware settings.
