Oribi won't connect to the internt

It won't let me have the RBR50v2 option but that is my model with one satellite.

I have used the app about 50 diffrent times and in 25 diffrent ways. I will open the app do excatly what it tells me to and then it will check the cables and then will say no internt connection. and I can connect to the internt and my phone and pc says there is no internet available.

If anyone has had the same problem and knows how to fix me I have rest it multiple times l. Also I will do anything and fix it

Re: Oribi won't connect to the internt

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too? There a built in router here by chance?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

What model modem do you have?  How long has this been going?

Re: Oribi won't connect to the internt

It has been going on for about 4 days and my modem is a chorus and it is very old I dont know a lot about it since it is about 4ish years old but the thing is the modem is fine with all the other internt routers we have used but the orbi shows a stronger connection.

Re: Oribi won't connect to the internt

Please post any information you have about the modem.

There maybe a router and wifi built in here.
