PC's not seeing wifi on satellite after power outage
Everything was setup and working fine.
Had a power outage and now the 2 PC's that did connect to the satellite are not seeing the wifi network and can't connect.
The satellite is connected, working fine. Backhaul status is Good. Take my phone from the router to the satellite and in the attached devices page on the router it shows it is connecting to the satellite.
Everything seems normal except the 2 PC's can't see the wifi network at all.
Any help much appreciated, kids are tearing the walls down!

Re: PC's not seeing wifi on satellite after power outage
Can the pc's see any wifi networks?
What wifi adapter is in the pc's?
Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling the wireless card?

Re: PC's not seeing wifi on satellite after power outage
Yes they can see other wifi networks in the area.
One has a TP Link WN822N and the other a TP Link WN821N.
Yep uninstalled, reinstalled. Updated drivers from generic windows one to the manufactures latest.

Re: PC's not seeing wifi on satellite after power outage
Well fixed it, sort of.
Changed the SSID name and the network appeared again.
Now I just have to go around and update the wifi settings on EVERYTHING 😞

They are both running i5-9400f's, one is about 18 months old the other 12 months.

Maybe the system got out-of-sync after the power outage (shouldn't have happened, still a bug) so changing the SSID name forced a fresh configuration to your Orbi and its satellites. It's probably too late now, but I would suggest try changing the SSID one more time, back to its original value, and then see if everything is still working and visible. This may have been a way to avoid having to reconfigure wifi sittings on everything.
