What happens when you try?
Does the RBR20 router connect to the Internet? Do you know which firmware version is on it?
What is the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between the Orbi router and the Internet?
what satellite model is it?
Have you tried hardwiring it into the router and syncing it?

Same RBK20W kit consisting of an Orbi RBR20 Router and one Orbi RBW30 Wall Plug Satellite?
The router is installed and operational?
The fine Orbi WiFi System User Manal (Orbi Router Model RBR50 Orbi Satellite Model RBS50 Orbi Router Model RBR40 Orbi Satellite Model RBS40 Orbi Router Model RBR20 Orbi Satellite Model RBS20 Orbi Wall-Plug Satellite Model RBW30) does cover "Sync a satellite from an Orbi wifi system" for the kit-supplied satellites (p.11 ff.) or "Sync an add-on satellite" (p.12 ff.).
