You can try recoving it with tftp or nmrpflash.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

I appreciate the feedback. I tried both methods. It seems it's too dead even for these low level tools.
./nmrpflash -i en0 -f RBR50-V2.7.3.22.img Advertising NMRP server on en0 ... | No response after 60 seconds. Bailing out.
I guess I have to go buy a new router.

Sometimes it can take a few tries to get the timing right.
Another thing you can try doing is swap the power supply from the router with a satellite. Maybe its going bad and not supplying enough power to boot the router.
