RBR50 compatible with RBR23 satellites
Hello,
Well, I guess I actually have 2 questions. I have a RBR23 with 2 satellites. It currently has 60 devices on it. i was think of upgrading to the RBR 50.
1- will the RBR50 be a good upgrade or should I go a different route.
2- will the satellites from the RBK23 work with the RBR50 if I go that route.
thanks.

Re: RBR50 compatible with RBR23 satellites
1. yes the satellites will work. They're compatible
2. will it help? Maybe. Reason I say maybe is the RBR50 does have a wider backhaul (1733mbps) but the devices connecting to the rbs20's are still going to have to function off their slower 866mbps backhaul.

Re: RBR50 compatible with RBR23 satellites
If I added RBS50 satellites with the existing RBS20 satellites would it slow the RBS50 satellites down their speed? I read somewhere it'd slow the 50 satellites speed to match the slower RBS20 speeds. If that's the case it's best to just completely eliminate the RBR20 system and replace with RBR50.

Re: RBR50 compatible with RBR23 satellites
If you go RBR50------RBS50------RBS20
then the rbs50 wouldn't be slowed down.
If you swapped and went RBR50-----rbs20-----rbs50
Then it would because it'd be running off the rbs20's backhaul.

Re: RBR50 compatible with RBR23 satellites
Thank you for your response. That's only if they're daisy chained though correct? Because if they are in the Star configuration they communicate directly with the router. If I understand it correctly
