RBS30 Satellite Sudden Death
On June 26 I bought an RBK50 system on Ebay. During setup, the router worked, but the satellite died (I think it was during the firmware update), and became unresponsive, with the eternal pulsing white light. I have called Netgear support multiple times; they have tried everything they know but it remains unresponsive. Apparently, when a device dies sudden death they abandon it; they have no repair center. Since I bought it on Ebay, Netgear will not replace it, but the seller graciously gave me a refund in order to replace the satellite, which I did. But now I have this expensive nightlight, eternally blinking white.. Any ideas how to bring this thing back to life?

Re: RBS30 Satellite Sudden Death
You can try reviewing these posts and see:
https://kb.netgear.com/22688/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP
(Use windows built in TFTP program, not the one recommended by NG in this link.)
This may or may not work. The RBS maybe bad and not recoverable. Let us know if anything works.
