RBS50Y

I got a RBS50Y satellite that I can't get to sync with my orbi RBR50.  

 

Anyone know how to upgrade the firmware on the RBS50Y without it being connected to the main router (cause I can't get it to sync).  It has it's own MAC address but no ethernet plugs. 

 

not sure what else I can do to try to get it to sync.  I bought it on Ebay and it's out of warranty anyway for support.

    Hii,

     

    You can following steps to fix the issue:

    1. Power off both the satellite and the main router.
    2. Reset the satellite by pressing and holding the reset button for about 10 seconds until the LED blinks.
    3. Power on the main router and wait until it fully boots up.
    4. Power on the satellite and wait for it to sync with the main router. This process may take a few minutes.
    5. If the sync doesn't happen, try moving the satellite closer to the main router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi connection.
    6. If the issue persists, you can try a factory reset on both the satellite and the main router. Remember, this will erase all previous settings, so be prepared to set up your network again.
