Rbk853 setup
I have my home setup using an Orbi rbk50 if I want to change to Orbi rbk853 how can I set it up so all of my current devices connected to the rbk50 will automatically connect to the rbk853?

Re: Rbk853 setup
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

The best way would be to set up the 8 series router to use same SSID name and PW that you use on the 50 series. You can connect the 8 series router to your modem and reboot the modem. Leave the RBR50 online while the 8 series poweres ON and comes to ready. Once it's ready, power OFF the RBR50 and your devices should migrate and connect to the RBR850 system.
Thank you.

Re: Rbk853 setup
Should I remove the rbk50 cable to the modem while setting up the RBK853 but leave the rbk50 powered on until the RBK853 is set up?

Re: Rbk853 setup
You can move the ISP cable to the RBR850 while setting it up. Once it's setup and up and running, should be able to just turn OFF the RBR50.
