Nearly every "Internet of Things" (IoT) device connects only to 2.4G WiFi. (a) 2.4G covers a wider area than 5G, (b) IoT devices consume very little data, and (c) 2.4WiFi chips cost very little.
The prominent warnings, "MUST have 2.4G WiFi" are similar to "Takes 2 AA batteries." If the customer has no 2.4GWiFi at all, the device will not work. (Similar to a customer who has only C cell batteries.)
I know of two Orbi users who have Eufy vacuums, and they connected instantly.
My recommendation is to go ahead with the smartphone setup and ignore any warnings about 2.4G.
If the setup fails, the recommendation is to temporarily stop broadcasting the SSID on 5G.
