Wireless Devices connected to orbi but not connected to internet
Hi. Working with a CBK40 modem/router (v2.3.5.12), one RBS40 (v2.3.5.32) satellite and one RBS20 (V2.3.5.30) satellite. This system worked flawlessly for about two years. Last week I noticed a huge drop in speed for devices connected to satellites. I updated the satellites to latest firmware on Netgear support pages for the satellites and confirmed the CBR40 was on latest firmware as well.
I couldn’t figure out the issue so I did a FACTORY RESET of router/modem and satellites. Boom! Speeds up to full! However...
Now devices connected to satellites seem to get blocked connected to the internet consistently throughout the day. There is a connection to the Orbi system with full strength, but it seems as though the router is not allowing an outside connection to the internet. A couple things fix this for a short period of time: 1) do nothing and it resolves in a couple minutes; 2) disconnect device from WiFi then reconnect.
I currently have everything in a daisy chain since we are in a three-story town house with router on 1st floor and one satellite on each floor.
MUMIMO, Beamforming, and Fast roaming are all disabled. I tried enabling these after the factory reset and it seemed to make the satellite speeds drop back down.
2.4ghz is set to auto.
5ghz is set to channel 48.
Preamble is set to auto.
Basically, everything is set to the default setting since I just did a factory reset.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated!!
However, neither are good solutions as this happens constantly.
Any suggestions?

What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Armor, Circle, Fast Roaming, and IPv6 were already disabled.
I disabled Daisy Chain and disabled 20/40Mhz coexistence. I set preamble from Auto to Short.
Rebooted router.
This setup resulted in both satelittes dropping from the network. The satellite on the second floor (RBS40) was able to reconnect. The satellite on the third floor (RBS20) reconnected but had poor backhaul connection and disconnected again.
Speed is terrible.
What happens if you update the RBS20s to 2.5.1.16 then factory reset the CBR and RBS and setup from scratch?
Move the RBS a bit closer to the RBR as well to test.
