NETGEAR RBR50 v AX1800

I have an (old) RBR 50 with 1 satellite, and have found that due to the age of this product, purchasing an extra satellite is going to either very expensive, or not possible.

The RBR50 that I have works perfectly, but I now need another satellite due to the purchase of a 2nd SMART TV located nowhere near the existing satellite or the router.

I live in Australia, and have found an AX1800 (RBK353) that comes with 2 satellites. Most importantly, it is affordable.

Is my best solution to 'upgrade' to this model, and is it likely to provide the same or more coverage, than my existing RBR50?

Thanks for any assistance.

Re: NETGEAR RBR50 v AX1800

I have 2 RBS350 satellites (connected to RBR850 router) and I'm not happy with their stability. I'm still hoping for firmware updates from Netgear to improve the stability and performance.

On the other hand, I don't thing that you will get the same coverage with 2 RBS350 satellites as you would get with 2 RBS50 satellites.

Try to find an RBS50, used or in a package (RBK52). In Europe you can still find an RBS50 at around 150 EUR, and an RBK52 (RBR50+RBS50) for around 250 EUR or so.

You can also use the RBS20, RBW30, RBS40, RBS40V, RBS50, RBS50Y with it.

The EX7500, EX7700, ad EX8000 will also work with it but not integrate with it.
