Firmware update RBK853 stuck on 3.2.18.1

I have an Orbi RBK853. If I run a manual check of the firmware version, it says no updates are available. I run on 3.2.18.1. I doubt whether to do a manual update because I read about quite some issues with the new firmware 4.6.3.9. Can anyone recommend what to do, especially given the security fixes in the latest version?

I recommend keeping v3 loaded for now. Some have seen problems with v4 loaded. If v4 isn't seen by the RBR, you can manually download and manually install the FW files if you want to update. Update the RBS first then RBR lastly.

Re: Firmware update RBK853 stuck on 3.2.18.1
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.
