After the update my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing correct speed
Well as I stated above my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing the correct speed on the speed test. I have about 250mbps connection @ home , it now only shows 64mbps, on the Mac it shows the full 250mbps in the same area, it almost got me in trouble with the isp as I called them thinking I wasn't getting the correct speed. Anybody else has this issue ? it start happening after the new force update.

Does this still happen if you disabled Private WiFi address feature on the phone?
There a version number of the iOS on the phone?

Thanks for the version #.

Possible there maybe some issues still happening between Apple and NG. I haven't heard anything official if all that's been fully addressed.

👍
Also what is the current wifi channel configuration set on the RBR?
Is 240Mhz backhaul enabled down Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings on the RBR?

Re: After the update my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing correct speed
FYI, you can leave WiFi Private IP addressing feature disabled while at home. It is safe while at home. If you know your going to travel outside of the home, then re-enable it. This has been a known problematic feature that was introduce by both Android and Apple Mfrs for there phones and pads. NG has already been aware of this as well. Maybe something that NG can't fully make work since it is meant to hide information about the device. FYi, the feature puts randomized MAC address on the phones and pads with is supposed to make them harder to track and do nefarious things too. This feature makes the host brand and model name of the device unknown or hidden to the connecting router. It's a security measure and I get it. Mostly directed while users are out in the public domain and away from the home network. Honestly I've never seen a need for it while at home and on your own home network. I keep mine disabled while at home all the time. So I can see what is connected. Over all, up to you if you want to keep it enabled or not while at home.

Re: After the update my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing correct speed
I am aware of what it does. And honestly it's one of the best feature ever introduced to iPhones and apple product. Now other router manufacturers of the same class and less has no issue with this feature, so this is definitely something Netgear needs to work on. Most persons seem to have not encounter this issue as yet as I haven't seen it on this forum.

Of course. I presume over time, should get better. Along with issues that Apple has to work on as well. 😉
I've seen issues with this randomizer with other model routers and non NG branded ones as well. NG isn't the only one. 🙄

Re: After the update my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing correct speed
On the RBR web page, under Connected Devices, does it show 5Ghz+6Ghz for the connection type for your RBS, or does it how ether 5Ghz or 6Ghz separate for the connection type?

Re: After the update my iPhone 15 pro max stop showing correct speed
AH, OK, explains that a bit. There seems to be in region and out of region UI behaviors. I'll check on this to be sure for you.
As long as you see 5+6Ghz there, your good. Means MLO is enabled and working.
