The router loses connection to the internet
I have been dealing with this same issue for 2 weeks now and nothing has changed. My system will be connected to the internet on the "main" network and the "guest" network will lose internet connection, then later in the day it will switch to no internet on "main" and there will be internet on "guest". No issues with my Google fiber as when these Orbi issues happen I can switch to my Google Wifi network and have no internet connection issues.

Re: The router loses connection to the internet
Does the front LED turn PINK when this happens?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Re: The router loses connection to the internet
Is the CAT cable UTP or STP cabling. STP cabling is recommended here.
30 feet distance between RBR and RBS is recommended as well.

Re: The router loses connection to the internet
STP is recommended for any connection rates beyond 1Gb. Especially for multi gig connections.
Look it up.
Doesn't tell us the distances between them. There are good reasons for these quesetions. Hard to help out if we don't get feedback.

Re: The router loses connection to the internet
Well, I "looked it up" shielded or unshielded. They are shielded. Still not sure what the distance has to do with anything, I can be wired to the main orbi and not have internet access. That has nothing to do with the 25ft from my main Orbi to the satellite (in a pretty open floor plan).

Re: The router loses connection to the internet
25ft would be too close for the RBS to the RBR. 30 feet or more is recommended to start with.
Sheilded cabling is recommended for connections beyond 1Gb.
Hope the beta FW works for you.
Good Luck.
