When I try to configure, I get the following message "the switch and manager IP address are not in the same subnet. How do I fix this?

Re: gss116e Unable to configure
I would strongly advise to connect the switch to a LAN like your router with a working DHCP server, and do cold reboot so the DHCP server will assign an IP address in the same subnet. That's much easier then the following ...
If attempting to configure a switch connected direct to the PC, or on a network without a DHCP server, it's required to configure a static IP on that very same IP subnet like default IP 192.168.0.239/24, something like 192.168.0.123 subnet 255.255.255.0 default gateway and DNS like 192.168.0.239 (avoid any "test if the config works"). Take notes so you can revert to the original settings.
