AV profile discrepancy between M4250 and M4350

Products: M4250-40G8XF and M4350-24F4V
(current firmware for each, 13.0.4.26 and 14.0.2.23)
There are significant discrepancies between the AV Profiles in the two series of devices and I am not certain how to synchronize my installation in a mixed environment. I have solved this for now by creating a custom profile that is the same on both types of devices, but how have others addressed this problem? It seems weird that I cannot choose the same profile on both devices and have it work.
I am running an audio and control vlan with mostly Shure Dante devices, but some other Dante equipment including a QSC Core610.
The "Audio Dante" profile for the M4250 has PTPv2 enabled, but it is disabled in the M4350.
The "Shure Converged" profile in the M4250 does not exist in the M4350.

Hi @reisley ,
There are two things:
1. Shure has qualified (tested, QA etc.) the Shure profiles on M4250 switches, and we are still waiting for their validation on M4300 / M4350 switches, although we know they would work. This is why we don't show the Shure profiles available on M4300 / M4350. But yes of course, it's Dante, and you are going to use another Audio profile that will work just fine.
2. Please run the latest firmware version and AVUI version on M4250 and M4350 in your case. 13.0.4.26 is the latest firmware for M4250 at https://www.netgear.com/support/product/m4250/#download
But to have the same AV UI and the same behavior in the profiles (PTP TC time stamping etc.) please upgrade your M4350 switches to 14.0.2.26 at https://www.netgear.com/support/product/m4350/#download
This way, except Shure, all other profiles will be in sync.
In your case, I would not use a custom profile. Instead, I would delete extra VLANs and only keep the Default VLAN 1 on all switches. And edit the Default VLAN 1, applying the Audio Dante template to it each time. You will notice the PTP residency time stamping (PTP-TC) slider then, you can enable or disable the PTP-TC - but it needs to be the same on every switch.
With the latest .26 release, the PTP-TC (PTP residency time stamping) is available everywhere at the profile/VLAN level.
It is important to have the same FW/AV UI version for an AVoIP installation. You can also our Engage controller (www.netgear.com/engage) for configuring all switches at once.
I hope it helps!

Re: AV profile discrepancy between M4250 and M4350
Thank you, I did not see that a newer version of the M4350 firmware has been released since my project started.
