AV switch M4250-40G8XF-PoE+ firmware upgrade
Hello Expert
I am new for Netgear products and now in project I have to configure AV switch.
Before that I want to upgrade to latest firmware. when I go to Netgear download page I see MIB version and firmware version. May I know which one I have to download and upgrade? Do I need to download both for upgrade? And what is the different between these two? Thanks in advance.

Re: AV switch M4250-40G8XF-PoE+ firmware upgrade
For the firmware update, all you must download is the firmware kit coming in a ZIP archive.
In case you need to connect the serial (now a USB based console), also download and install the USB Console Driver (before connecting the USB2serial device).
Nice to have, certainly in case you plan to maintain multiple Netgear AV switches, you can have an eye on the NETGEAR Engage Controller, a Lightweight, portable application - you can run it from a USB thumb drive. Available for Windows and MacOS.
The MIBs are only required for SNMP-based network management systems.
