Compatible SFP+ bidi module
I have a M4250 - 10G2XF and I was looking to get a SFP+ module which is compatible with my TP-Link media converters.
The TP-Link Media converters use 1G Bidi SFP modules.
Is it just a matter of finding a compatible 1G Bidi SFP+ module on the correct bandwidth to comunicate with my Media converters?

Re: Compatible SFP+ bidi module
Netgear does not offer SFP BiDi modules. Therefore, Netgear does not test or support any BiDi modules, does not support eg. tuneable SFP+ modules, and so on.
Taking this into consideration, vendors offering Netgear compatible BiDi - what would include at least a Netgear and a comparable Netgear model number.- are in my opinion simply lying.
Keep in mind:
- There is no link speed negotiation on fiber connections (so you can't pair 1 Gb, 1.25G, 10G, ...), and
- BiDi modules must always be usd in matching pairs with the TX on one end must match the RX colour (frequency), the RX on the same and must match the TX colur on the other end.
