NETGEAR Enabling Next-Gen AV over IP Networks, WiFi6 & More - Analyst Day 2019
At New York’s NASDAQ stock exchange, NETGEAR CEO Patrick Lo and the executive team hosted Financial Analyst Day where they presented our company’s vision for the future. The talk covered a variety of products and initiatives, from 5G to WiFi 6 to services such as NETGEAR Armor. One aspect of the presentation that received a good deal of attention was how their professional IP switches are making 1g and 10g AV over IP integrations a reality.
The business team has shown commitment to the professional AV industry by creating custom built hardware like the M4300 and M4500 switches and software such as IGMP-Plus drastically improving the performance, maintenance and efficiency of AV systems. Further commitment is shown by newly created dedicated support, design and sales teams to improve efficiencies for resellers and integrators. NETGEAR ProAV AV over IP switching products featured in the presentation includes the M4300 10gb Managed Switches and the new ProAV focused M4500 Series switches providing up to 32x 100G QSFP28 ports.
