ReadyNAS 102 with Version 6.10.7 firmware USB issues

I've just updated my old and trusty ReadyNAS 102 with Version 6.10.7 firmware and 1 of my rear USB ports has stopped working - I swapped the 2 USB cables and can confirm the port no longer recognises the working device (which operated fine in 6.10.6) .. How odd? has anyone else seen this issue?
Sorry to hear on what happened, have you tried rebooting the NAS or going back to 6.10.6 and see if the issue will be fixed? I am thinking the USB port was bound to fail but if it gets working after going back to 6.10.6 then this is a firmware issue.
