ReadyNAS OS6 on legacy hardware
So I got the "Update now to OS6.5.0" email. All I have are an NV and an NV+, I don't imagine either of those will accept the new OS -- right?

Correct.
Do you have a router that has ReadyCLOUD?
The email isn't just about NAS

No, I do not have a router with ReadyCLOUD.
Methinks I received the email in error.

Certainly it doesn't apply to you.

Re: ReadyNAS OS6 on legacy hardware
Did you use ReadyNAS Remote at some point in time? If so, you may have received the e-mail; ReadyNAS Remote accounts upgraded to ReadyCLOUD accounts if you ever signed in, and now ReadyCLOUD accounts need to upgrade manually to NETGEAR accounts, which NETGEAR accounts are used on MyNETGEAR, Arlo, and now ReadyCLOUD.
