Bugs...bugs...bugs !
Get only 17 MBs when copiying files on the nas.
When will negtear finally solve these issues ?
I spent more than 2000 euros (rnnas 516 and eda 500) and i shall have a system that works.
What to do ?

Hi matmar,
Which Firmware is your unit on? If Anti-Virus is disabled, is there any difference?
Kind regards,

Re: Bugs...bugs...bugs !
ssd supposed to have good read/write speed over spinning hard drives
in a nas this is not the case as i tested
apart from saving electricity and reduce vibration i cannot see any other benefits

It'd be useful to share your test results (in its own thread).
The main speed benefit of SSD is that there is 0 seek time. So I'd expect there would be a significant speed gain if you are transferring directory information of large folder, or are copying a lot of small files.
I'd also expect the NAS to perform better under load - for instance, a scrub or a balance should have much less effect on end-user speed than you'd have with spinning disks.

Re: Bugs...bugs...bugs !
You will always see those messages from DVBLink, because they intentionally do exactly what the warning message describes -- building media drivers from other kernel versions, and installing them on the NAS kernel.

Re: Bugs...bugs...bugs !
This message does not apply to tv butler as it uses its own special user mode driver.
