ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 now available!
Release notes for 6.6.0 are available here. Please read these before updating.
This update adds VLAN support for all models and a disaster recovery service called ReadyDR for our x86 systems
There's also a major update to the core base from Debian 7 to Debian 8.
If you use apps please read Community app compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 and NETGEAR app compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 before upgrading
N.B. Devices updated with 6.6.0 firmware cannot be downgraded to earlier firmware versions.
This firmware is available for the following systems:
arm (RN102 / RN104 / RN202 / RN204 / RN212 / RN214 / RN2120)
x86_64 (RN312 / RN314 / RN316 / RN516 / RN526x / RN626x / RN716x / RN3130 / RN3138 / RN3220 / RR3312 / RN4220 / RR4312)
RN102, RN104 & RN2120:
- Systems running firmware older than 6.2.1 should update to 6.2.4 first. Then update from 6.2.4 to 6.5.2. Finally, update from 6.5.2 to 6.6.0.
- Systems running firmware older than 6.4.2 should update to 6.5.2 first. Then update from 6.5.2 to 6.6.0.
RN202, RN204, RN212 & RN214:
- Systems running firmware older than 6.4.2 should update to 6.5.2 first. Then update from 6.5.2 to 6.6.0.
All other systems and versions can update to 6.6.0.
