I want to change my network name/password from the default setting, and I can't log in to www.routerlogin.net,. or the IP address. I have tried to delete history using both Chrome, and Internet. Any suggestions? Thank you!

If you can't connect to routerlogin.com or routerlogin.net, try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Turn on the power for the Netgear router.
2. Connect a computer to the router's Wi-Fi network.
3. Connect to the websites using the router's default IP address at http://192.168.1.1. This won't work if you changed the default IP.
4. If problems persist, connect with a different browser or wireless device.
5. Power-cycle the entire network.
6. If all else fails, perform a factory reset on the router.
I hope it might help to solve your problem.

_Which_ "the IP address"?
"can't" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

Is that accurate?

It also probably won't work on a modem+router, whose default LAN IP
address would be "192.168.0.1".
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Troubleshoot". Further reading might not hurt, either.

Re: Can't login to www.routerlogin.net.
Hi, if the www.routerlogin.net doesn't work you can try logging in with the router's default IP. If you are using Windows you can easily find it via the Command Prompt and typing ipconfig in it. When the results show up just scroll down and you will see your router IP as Default Gateway. Try this.
