Hi thanks for reading
I live in an appartment block. It has a portal login.
I wish to configure my router so it logs into the portal and shares the wirless to my various items like my PC home google and my chromecast.
I need a step by step guide as i am not very expert.
Thanks in advance
JC

You need a router that supports wisp mode.
https://wifi-settings.com/wireless-routers/wisp-mode/
That route doesn't support wisp mode.
Netgear made one years ago but its out of date.
I'd recommend looking for travel routers or even just searching for a router with wisp mode

I've only used ddwrt on a r7000 and that was a long time ago. so I'm not a good reference for that. You'd have to check the ddwrt forums.

Re: How do i connect to hotel portal to bridge a N600
Thanks
I have found a bin file designed for that model router unfortunately it has to be done through a Linux terminal window so a steep learning curve ahead.
I’ll try through Debian see how I go.
Not sure maybe I can convert it to an img file on a virtual CD then load through windows.
Anyway could keep me entertained for some hours.
Once again thanks for your interest and thoughts.
