My goal is to find out how I can log on to http://www.routerlogin.net so I can update my firmware.
I have a R6220 wireless router.
I received an e-mail telling me to update my firmware. When I try to login on the http://www.routerlogin.net site, it won't let me. I don't know what the proper username and password are, just that they aren't the ones associated with my NetGear log in. I see no way to find out this information.
I have no idea what my model version or firmware version are. I am running Windows 10, but doubt that is meaningful.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read.
"my NetGear log in" is associated with netgear.com. "the
http://www.routerlogin.net site" should be your own router.
The default user and password are "admin" and "password", but the
password could have been changed.

The model is whatever it says on the label on the device (except that
"v1" may be invisible). You generally can't get the firmware version
until you can get logged in.

Re: ICan't log on for firmwear update
The default user and password - "admin" and "password" respectively - was the answer.
Thank you very much

Glad to hear that you got it working. Note that the User Manual
provides that information (and much else).
