Netgear R6260 blocking outgoing emails
The router just started blocking emails from being sent. They just stay in the outbox with a non-descript error. I know it's the router, since I can take the device to another network and the emails are sent. This just started happening a few days ago. I did a firmware upgrade and the problem went away, only for it to re-appear the next day. Help! It's a Netgear R6260, firmware V1.1.0.88_1.0.1.

Re: Netgear R6260 blocking outgoing emails
so you have the R6260.
What firmware is on it?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
Is any other program having issues?
Are you using any parental controls/armor/alternate dns settings?
Is this a new router or did something recently change?
What device is it with issues?

Re: Netgear R6260 blocking outgoing emails
Firmare is V1.1.0.88.1.0
This issue is with every device connected to the network. Laptop, phones, tablets.
There are no parental blocks being used.
The router has worked fine for two years. Just all of a sudden it started blocking emails. I can turn off wifi on the phone and use the cell network and the emails work fine. Is there a way to go back to factory settings?

Re: Netgear R6260 blocking outgoing emails
You can factory reset. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. that'll get you back to defaults.
then just reinstall it.
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
