Re: Netgear R6400 No longer transmitting??
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the NG Smart Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with general routers and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Try a full on factory reset with pulling the power adapter for 1 minute as well.
Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

By any chance did you hit the wifi button on the router that turned it off? Press the wifi button for 3 seconds and see if it comes back on.

Re: Netgear R6400 No longer transmitting??
As @wcalifas says, first check the wifi button. You can get some clues by looking at the LEDs on your router. Is the wifi LED on?
By the way, there isn't much difference between the R6400 and most of the "General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk and Non-Orbi)" devices discussed here. They behave in much the same way in many respects. So you may not get better advice by wasting your time over in the "right" section, Save that for when you really need to.
