Orbi RBR20 Slow Ethernet Connected Speeds

So I got a new router from rogers and hooked up to my gb ignite wifi.

Since hook up my connected ethernet which is right next to all routers is very slow - I used to get 700mbps and now under 100 consistently.

My configuration is simple my PC ethernet runs directly to my orbi router and my wifi ignite router also runs to the router using cat5 cables etc.

I did read something about factory resetting and just wanted to know if this is my best option and then reconfiguring the network again, although I am not sure why this is required and thought I might ask before going through all this set up again.

The internet speed on the orbi app shows great - but not the pc - and this is the main concern

Thanks in advance - just need to get this resolved ASAP as those speeds are just not acceptable for what I do

Not a very detailed description of that device.  Has it a maker and
model number?  What did it replace?  To what is it connected?

Not all of your readers are certain to have heard of Rogers Ignite TV
service.

What, exactly, is connected to what, exactly?  (Hint: If a device has
different types of Ethernet ports, then "connected to device" is not
enough detail.)

Cascading multiple routers can cause multiple problems.  If your "a
new router" can be configured as a modem only ("bridge"), or eliminated
entirely, then using the RBR20 as your only router might work better.

Alternatively, configuring the RBR20 as a wireless access point
instead of as a full-function router (leaving your (unspecified) "a new
router" as your only router) might help.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for "Use the
router as a WiFi access point".

   Thanks for the helpful link.
