Port Fowarding r6120
hello i can't seem to open port with my router i was working well before i move out of my old place
my router is connected to a modem.
Here what i try so far is:
i open a port through my router the port was 12050 TCP and UDP
i check if the port was open with Portforward.com and it say that is not open
i try different port
i try to disable my window firewall and make rule for the software i want to use the port
i made a static ip for my computer
after all this i can't figure what wrong cause at my old place everything was working fine
if you guy could help me it would be really appreciate
if you need more info just said it.

so i did try to use my port with my software but it didnt work ether.
and i just check and my router is plug on a tiny box outside im with xplornet

there is no modem. i dont see one, my router is connected to a little box outside and then on the antenna on the roof

broadcast internet.
we always run into issues with broadcast internet. Not sure if its because they're operator side nat/routing or what.

i did call my operator and he said that is was not it fault the problem was not by him!

I'm sure they did say that. What I'm saying is we see issues with things like this along using broadcast internet. Not sure if its because they use their own routing/nat/filtering or what. I haven't found a good answer for it yet.

I don't have an answer for you. Like I said, I've seen it numerous times with people who use broadcast internet and I haven't found a solution that worked well. I've seen some use the DMZ but thats really not a very secure way as it opens the device you put in the dmz to pretty much everyone.

Which ISP is at the other end of this box?
You could try a search here for it.
As @plemans says, "broadcast internet" isn't common. So there isn't much collective wisdom here on the subject.
