R6400 (AC1750 v1) - My Book and Time Machine
Good afternoon,
Currently having an issue getting a 2TB MyBook attached to my R6400 (AC1750 v1) to be usable as a Time Machine Backup for my wifes MacBook.
Netgear R6400 (AC1750 v1) Firmware 1.0.1.78_1.0.50
MacBook w IOS 14.3.1
WD MyBook 2TB
-Configured Mac OS Extended (Journaled) per https://kb.netgear.com/21360/How-do-I-set-up-Time-Machine-backups-to-the-USB-drive-on-my-NETGEAR-rou...
1. Can connect MyBook locally to MacBook and run Time Machine.
- Configured Mac OS Extended (Journaled) per https://kb.netgear.com/21360/How-do-I-set-up-Time-Machine-backups-to-the-USB-drive-on-my-NETGEAR-rou...
- Connected to the router via USB1 or USB2 – MyBook shows as available folder
1. on Macbook Can attach to ReadyShare via sm://readyshare and see the ReadyShare/USB Storage folder under Locations and if connecting directly through the Netgear Genie (routerlogin.net), Can make additional folder on readyshare
2. on Macbook Cannot see the readyshare drive in Time Machine setup - No Available Time Machine Destinations
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks
