Is it possible to connect my N600 router to a hotspot? A hotspot is the only way for me to get internet that works.
Can you explain in a bit more detail?
First, what is your N600? That is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with that tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds. In this case anything with that tag is probably pretty old.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Them there is the "hotspot". That's a word that a word that gets attached to all manner of things.Netgear uses it to describe various mobile modems. What do you have in mind?

Re: Router with stand alone hotspot
Are you talking a cellular hotspot? LIke using a phone or using a dedicated cellular router?
Its a bit important as if the hotspot doesn't have ethernet, then you wouldn't be able to connect the router to it.
So what actual device are you wanting to connect your router to?
