Using R6400v2 as router instead of FiOS router
I was told I could replace the Verizon FiOS router with a NG R6400v2 router as it was compatible with FiOS. I have ethernet running from ONT directly to the R6400v2 and using the WiFi of it. I'm just not getting the gigabit speeds I'm paying for. When I plug directly into the R6400v2, I'm getting 150mbps download speeds.
When I initially hooked this up I called Verizon and gave them the MAC address of the R6400. What am I missing here? Why am I not getting the gigabit speeds?

Re: Using R6400v2 as router instead of FiOS router
write down your ISP settings for the r6400. then factory reset it.
During the reinstall, make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls all disabled.
When they're enabled, the process has to analyze traffic and it doesn't have the capability to do so at gigabit speed (or even close).
Also, test speeds wired. you won't get close to gigabit over wireless

The 150 mbps was a wired connection.
