WN3000RP Wont accept network password

I replaced my router, so I needed to reinstall this extender.  I reset the extender to factory defaults, then worked throught the procedure for "connecting with WPS".  The extender shows up on the list of available wireless networks, but when I attempt to login the extender does not accept the network password.

Re: WN3000RP Wont accept network password

what router do you have now?

Have you tried factory resetting the extender and instalilng it using the installation assistant and not WPS?

Thats what I'd try

I tried your suggestion, but I ran into the same problem.  I'm using the Centurylink C1100T router.

Not WN3000RPv2 or WN3000RPv3?  Look for "Model" on the product label.

_Which_ 'the procedure for "connecting with WPS"'?  Are you following
some set of instructions or other?  Which you found where, exactly?

> [...] The extender shows up on the list of available wireless
> networks, [...]

_Which_ "the list of available wireless networks", where?

> [...] when I attempt to login [...]

"login" to what?  From what?  How?

> [...] the extender does not accept the network password.

Says who?  When you do what, exactly?  Are you reading some message
or other, someplace or other?

_Which_ "the network password"?  If you're using WPS, then what are
you doing with _any_ "the network password"?  As the WN3000RP
Installation Guide says (page 6):

WPS lets you easily join a secure Wi-Fi network without typing
the network name and password. [...]

At least one of us is confused.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.
Follow instructions?  If questions or problems persist, then you might
return here with a precise, accurate description of what you did, and
what happened when you did it.  (Not a vague mess about which
"procedure" you followed, and what did _not_ happen when you did
whatever you did.)

> [...] I'm using the Centurylink C1100T router.

That seems to have a "WPS button".  Did you use it?

Re: WN3000RP Wont accept network password

Im sorry if I sound like an idiot, but this is not something I do every day.  I did download the instructions for this extender and followed them word for word.  I followed instructions for both options:  1) connecting with WPS and 2) connecting with a web browser.  In both cases when it came to the step where I connect the extender to my wifi network, I was prompted for the wifi network password.  After entering the password and waiting for a few minutes, I was presented with a message telling me I had entered the wrong network password. I verified the password by logging in with other devices.  I then tried logging in again, but got the same message saying the password was incorrect.
