WNR2000V5 Change ap mode

This router was given to me. It's set in ap mode but I would like to use Bridge mode to connect to the Spectrum Community network for my Sonos speaker. However; when I log into the router the settings are grayed out and I can't access the places I need to be. Anyway around this?

If it was me? I'd probably give it back.

thats a pretty slow N300 device with minimal capabilities and is 2.4ghz only.

2.4ghz is sensitive to interference. I'm partial to recommending anything you stream on to be on 5ghz but that's just me.

But if you have to, I'd follow the guide @michaelkenward recommended.

It's on the way to the landfill.

When you reset it and always come back up in AP mode I think the best place for this is in the landfill.

Maybe.

but I've frequently seen device not held reset for long enough or not powered on.

Not saying thats what you're doing and there for sure could have been a reason it was "passed on".

I hope not.

In many many countries old electronic end up in the recycling bin for garbage. Manufacturers and retailers have a legal responsibility to support recycling.

Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Perhaps this doesn't happen in the USA.
