Connecting iPhone Personal Hotspot to NetGear universal WiFi internet adaptor WNCE2001

When I am setting up the WNCE2001, my Personal Hotspot on my iPhone does not appear as an Existing Network, but a host of others do. I do have the Personal Hotspot page open on my iPhone when it is scanning for networks. I have also tried to connect it manually but no luck, using my SSID WPA2 and my password. I know my iPhone Personal Hotspot works as it connects to my PC with ease. Does anyone have any solutions? Many thanks.
