Netgear WNCE3001 and Tivo Mini

I've connected my WNCE3001 to a tivo mini because i cannot run new networking cables between rooms in my apartment easily or cheaply. I have no problems with live television but cannot consistently connect to the shows recorded on my Tivo Roamio without having to power cycle my tivo at least a couple of times a day. It is probably a Tivo limitation but is there a way we can circumvent it by changing some configuration settings either for the WNCE3001 or for my router which is a Netgear WNDR4500 v1 ?

Thanks. So confirmed that the Netgear WNCE3001 cannot be used with the current Tivo Mini version.

Re: Netgear WNCE3001 and Tivo Mini
Hi nsinha,
The only setting you can change on the router is the channel or mode but I don't think this will help as it might be a limitation of the TiVo as what you have mentioned.

Re: Netgear WNCE3001 and Tivo Mini
Yes unfortunately.
When i called Tivo, they mentioned that there may be a wireless lag (even if it is a tenth of a second) between the wireless signal and the wired one that may be causing their systems to not be able to work together. I am going to see if connecting the main tivo module wirelessly also instead of via a hard connection will help with the synchronization... since now both modules will essentially be connected to the router wirelessly. I will provide an update after testing this later today.

Re: Netgear WNCE3001 and Tivo Mini
That did not work. It would have been too easy.
So its back to power cycling before i use the tv connected wirelessly if i am not watching live content or the smart apps or unless someone else has a suggestion.
Thanks

Re: Netgear WNCE3001 and Tivo Mini
Hi nsinha,
I would suggest try to connect both on wired connection since TiVo mentioned that it might be because of the lag on wireless.
