Why does my Netgear extender keep disconnecting?

2. what firmware is on it? 

3. what router is it connected to? 

4. how frequently is it happening? 

5. how big is your home and what are the internal walls made from? 

6. how far from the router is it and what walls are in the way? 

7. did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant?
