Can't see my 102 on my network #24691316
Hi - Using a RN102 on a Windows based network. Have recently added a second identical device to the network and I am having some minor issues that technical support has not been able to resolve

What version of ReadyNAS OS are you running on each of your NAS units?
Are your NAS units in the same workgroup as your PC?
There is a network discovery issue that was fixed in 6.2.3 Beta 4: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=154&t=78866

I was running 6.2.2 on both. I upgraded the firmware on the unit that was NOT being discovered and it was still not discovered. Then I updated the firmware on the other unit and VOILA, both units are now discovered. Thank you !
Incidentally, you ask if the NAS units are in the same workgroup as my PC. I have not found the way to put the NAS into a workgroup. Can you tell me where to look ?

Under Accounts > Authentication you should see the option to set the Workgroup. Note on 6.2.2 you need to reboot for a workgroup name change to take effect. This is fixed in 6.2.3 Beta
