RN102 - External HDD Error When Connecting
Hi everyone
I have an RN102 and last night I connected a external HDD for the first time to do some backups. I use a Mac running Mavericks.
I connected an external HDD to the rear USB port and as soon as I did this a pop up came up saying that the server had shut down. I clicked ok and the pop up vanished. I logged into the Admin page and backups performed as normal. What I noticed was in Finder > share there was only my RN102 name and SMB (AFP) had gone.
This morning I did it again, same error popped up on the Mac but this time all the shares were there still.
Is this normal?
Also I noticed that even though I eject the external drive through the Admin page the backup/usb light stays lit even after disconnecting the external drive completely from the RN102.
I've updated to the latest firmware 6.1.7
Is this all normal and it's just a bit buggy?
Thanks in advance
