RNDU 2000 : Hangs need to Hard reboot
Hello,
My RNDU2000 Regularly seems to hangs. I can't reach it from network (doesn't respond to a ping for example). I need to do a hard reset (2s on button) to get it back...
Very annoying.
There's nothing special on logs.
There's net2FTP, php5, root ssh on it.
Any help ?
Firmware version : RAIDiator 4.2.28

Re: RNDU 2000 : Hangs need to Hard reboot
First check how full the root volume is
# df -h
# df -i
If there is plenty of space on the 4GB root volume please download those and send them in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig).

You have Jumbo Frames enabled and yet you only have a 100Mb/s connection? Have you tried connecting the NAS to a gigabit router/switch?

Re: RNDU 2000 : Hangs need to Hard reboot
No I didn't try.
I have to buy one, it was a project.
So maybe my project is going to be done sooner 😉
Is there a link between hangs and switch ?

Re: RNDU 2000 : Hangs need to Hard reboot
Experience would suggest that the Ultra works much better with a gigabit connection. That can mean using a gigabit router or placing a gigabit switch between the router and the NAS.

Also, jumbo frames need to be disabled if you have a fast-ethernet connection.

Will see if problem come again. I hope not...
