I would like to set up the NAS so that the backup share has a quota. I don't want backups to take up more than 3/4 of the space on the NAS.
I know how to set a quota for an individual user or for a group. But I can't figure out how to set a quota for an individual share. Is it possible? If not, does anyone know a workaround?
For reference, I'm using devices with Windows 7 professional. I'm using memeo for regular backups, and windows 7 stock backup software for scheduled system image backups.
I have the same question. I used to be able to do this when I was using share security mode. Upon switching to user security mode have not been able to figure out if it is still possible to do this.
