Unable to access folders on ReadyNAS Duo v2 from Windows 7 File Explorer
I am unable to access the folders on my ReadyNAS Duo v2 from Windows File Explorer. Network NAS\Media is one folder I'll use here.
I can use the RAIDar program to access the ReadyNAS Dashboard, and I have two users: John & Dee. I updated the passwords just to make sure I have them entered correctly.
Under Network I have NAS and I can see my folders below. When I click on them I get:
Enter Network Password. Enter your password to connect to: NAS
First option is UserName: MYPCNAME\John. No matter what I enter here it fails. The known password for John fails.
I captured a screenshot but it will not upload. No browse in your upload file window? Jeez.
I tried the "Use another account" and tried \\NAS\John with my known good password. Fail.
Tried \\NAS\admin and the password that gets me into the Dashboard. Fail.
Tried the suggestion that pops up in all the other discussions about this failure: net use z: \\NAS\Media /user:admin adminpassword
I get the command line help, which tells me using the above is wrong. I tried /user:\\NAS\admin password Fail.
I had this working at one point. Then it stopped working.
Anyone have a solution? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Re: Unable to access folders on ReadyNAS Duo v2 from Windows 7 File Explorer
What firmware is running on the NAS?
FWIW, if you insert an image, from the bar at the top of the reply, there is a "choose file" control which lets you browse the local PC.
